Groove Thang

It's 5:15 a.m. and the alarm goes off. The alarm is on the wife's side of the bed and is playing a familiar tune, "Apologize."

Dear Husband is not yet ready to arise.

The song plays for a good two minutes.

Dear Husband realizes that his wife is still completely laying in bed yet oddly moving to the beat of the music as well.

Dear Husband asks, "What are you doing?"

At this point, no sounds have been made by the wife.

The wife belts out into laughter gleefully.

She replies, "I'm shaking my groove thang, Honey!"

Dear Husband is a little surprised. It's early. Really early. The alarm has been going off just a little too long for his taste. And now his wife is half asleep, yet half dancing.

"Is that what you're doing?" he laughs. Can this really be happening?

She just laughs and laughs and continues to dance. Sweet wife decides to turn off the radio on her husband's behalf. He doesn't understand.

Summer is but one day away!
