1. You go to bed at six p.m. to be ready for your 1 or 2 a.m. shift.
2. You blog at 4:30 in the morning.
3. You recognize in a whole new way the sacrifice the Lord made on behalf of all of us when He was willing to sacrifice His only begotten son.
4. You think you've had the best day ever when Babies R Us emails you to tell you the hands free bottles you've been wanting are now back in stock.
5. Some days you can't remember if you've brushed your teeth and sometimes it's been a little longer than you liked to have showered, but you don't care. You are loving every minute of your day.
6. You forget to eat.
7. You are so grateful for every gift given to your children because you pretty much use everything you've been given. You're also grateful for all of the help you've been blessed with in the first few weeks.
8. You read the Babywise book every moment you get free to "give your infant the gift of nighttime sleep" (and mommy and daddy as well).
9. You can eyeball three ounces in a bottle.
10. You think the combination of the smell of formula and their lavender baby lotion smells like a bakery.
11. The coffee you detested while being pregnant is instantaneously good again, and you must have that jolt to start your day.
12. Five hours of sleep is considered a full night.
13. A run to Target while the hubby watches the kids is considered a big outing.
14. Talking on the phone is only made possible with a Bluetooth headset.
15. You now do a load of laundry at least once a day.
16. Your dog is no longer your baby, but officially a dog.
17. You let go of the perfectionism you had about the cleanliness of your house. If visitors come over to find it dirty, oh well. There are more important things in life.
18. A set daily time visiting with the Lord may not be as consistent and yet you actually feel as if you are growing closer to Him.
19. You can't wait to make another trip to Disney World--this time with the little ones.
20. You get to love on these little faces all day long and feel so unbelievably blessed to be able to do so.
